Short version: we use Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. We can’t tell who you are from it. Beyond that, we only hold what you send us yourself.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4. It sets cookies in your browser so it can tell a returning visit from a new one, and it tells us things like which pages get read, roughly which city visitors are in, what device and browser they use, and whether they arrived from a search engine or a link.
It is aggregate and anonymous. We see that forty people read a blog post; we cannot see that you did. Google Analytics 4 doesn’t store IP addresses, and we have no way to connect a visit to a name.
If you’d rather not be counted, browser privacy settings or tracking blockers will stop it, and Google publishes a browser opt-out add-on. Nothing on this site works differently if you block it.
Our web host also keeps standard server logs, which routinely include IP addresses. We don’t use those to identify anyone.
When you enquire
The booking form asks for your name, phone number, email address, preferred date and location. Suburb and a message are optional. You choose what to put in it.
When you press send, those details are submitted to this website and emailed to us using Resend, an email delivery service. Resend handles the message in order to deliver it. Nothing you type is stored in a database on this site.
We use those details to reply to you and to quote your session.
What we keep, and for how long
- Your messages. Kept while we’re talking and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back to us.
- Booking details. Kept as long as we need to for tax and business records.
- Footage from your session. Covered by our booking terms, including whether we may use it in our portfolio. If you ask us to keep your session private, we won’t publish it.
Who else sees it
We don’t sell your details and we don’t share them for marketing. The third parties involved are:
- Google Analytics — anonymous visit statistics, as described above.
- Resend — delivers your enquiry to our inbox.
- The everyday services we use to run the business: email, file delivery and accounting, and only to the extent they need to be.
Your choices
Ask us at any time what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We’ll do it unless we’re legally required to keep something, such as a tax record.

Changes
If we start using anything else that collects data — an embedded booking tool, advertising, a chat widget — we’ll update this page and change the date at the top.
